What to bring to Camp Janus
Please label everything!
Pillow and blanket (twin size)
Towels for swimming
Soap, deodorant, shampoo
Pajamas or night shirt
Jacket or lightweight sweater
Bathing suit(s)
Water shoes
Outfits to wear for the weekend (campers need at least 6 changes)
Socks and underwear (campers need at least 6 changes)
Pairs of shoes (no open-toed footwear or slides for campers)
Hats, bathrobe, slippers
Optional Items
Camera
Notebook/journal
Sunglasses
Flashlight, with batteries
Prescription medicines
Parents must give all medications, in their original bottles, to the Camp Janus nurse at check-in. On return, parent must pick up all medications from the Camp Janus nurse.
Don’t forget to please label everything!
What NOT to bring to Camp Janus
Do not bring money
Do not bring knives, fireworks, drugs, cigarettes, alcohol, firearms, radios, or valuables that could be lost
The use of electronic devices or cell phones is discouraged
Things provided by Camp Janus
Bug spray, sunscreen and lotions
Meals and snacks
Water coolers and drink locations will be set up throughout camp
Sheets, towels, and washcloths
